Peace out

My family law client this week says to me “I follow you on Instagram and you seem to spend more time outside then in your office”. Well yes lovely client, I do. I must say, whilst I spend ‘enough time’ indoors I encourage myself and my clients to take time outdoors. Really. I have clients that much prefer to meet me somewhere outside and sometimes I even catch them when I am out hiking or walking. I love to see my clients take a healthy approach to their lifestyle as I really believe that you make better choices when you feel good. Trust me, I am no fitness person (even though sometimes I tell myself that I am an athlete – part of my affirmations – you can laugh if you want to). Being outdoors doesn’t necessarily mean exercising. For me it means a walk on the beach, dipping my toes in the ocean or just sitting on my lovely little balcony at home and enjoying my garden. I have a family law client who loves swimming. She tells me how much this helps her relax and clears her mind before she makes big tough decisions. I admire this about her. Others jog, some meditate, but each has their own unique way of finding their own peace. I seem to attract the kind of client who stays positive whilst things are difficult, keeps their spirit up and looks towards the future. It is a pleasure to serve them.
